About MYDT

Midwest Youth Dance Theatre began as a dance school in September 1994, with a commitment to provide all students with high quality and varied dance training matched to their level of commitment and ability. Our student population includes girls and boys, and ranges in age from 3 to 63.

The goal of Midwest Youth Dance Theatre (MYDT) is to teach the joy of dance and provide training through dance that can be applied in all aspects of life.

Our Focus is on:

• Including all students without auditioning
• Tasteful costumes and age appropriate choreography
• Providing classes to meet your needs from "just for fun" to preparation for a college dance major or a dance career
• Providing performance opportunities including two major performances and one dance competiton opportunity each year

We consider the staff and students a part of our family, and feel a great sense of community with the families who are our customers.
