*This time slot will be used for Level 5/6 Spring Production after The Lion King.
**This time slot will be a mandatory Peak Performance class for Levels 5&6 after The Lion King.
***Level 3 & 4 Ballet Repertory students should take the technique classes specified for their levels. They may take this class instead, only if they cannot attend their specified technique classes. See Janet.
Class Descriptions
Combos
Preschool Combo – Combination tap and ballet for ages 3-5.
Level 1 Combo – Combination tap and ballet for ages 5-7.
7-8 yr old Combo – Combo tap and ballet for ages 7-8. This class is for new students or those transitioning from Level 1. Not for current Level 2 students.
Tap
Tap class levels and student assignments are made by the teachers based on a combination of student age, experience and talent.
Modern Dance
Open to any ballet student - Level 3 and above. See teachers for placement.
Jazz & Musical Theatre
Class levels and student placement are made by the teachers based on a combination of student age, experience and talent. Levels 5 & 6 must take the jazz technique class and the MYDT Ballet Program. Level 4 must take at least 1 hour of ballet technique per week. Level 3 MT must take a ballet or jazz class. (See special notes on Lion King participation below.)
Ballet
Ballet technique, Pointe and repertory class levels are assigned by teachers. Dancers must meet minimum hour requirements at each level.
- Level 2 - 1.5 hrs/wk
- Level 3 - 2.5-3 hrs/wk
- Level 4 - 3.5 hrs/wk
- Level 5 - 4.5 hrs/wk
- Level 6 - 5 hrs/wk
- Pre-Teen/Teen Ballet - 10-18 year olds, 1 hour per week, Beginner-Intermediate level.
Adult/Teen Classes
Available in ballroom, tap, jazz, ballet, modern, and hip hop.
Monthly Tuition
This season's tuition schedule is based on 36 weeks of dance instruction. Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day and a winter holiday break are not included in the 36 weeks. Tuition is payable in nine monthly installments as shown here.
MONTHLY TUITION – payment is due the 1 st day of each month, Sept. through May.

Adult students ONLY may choose to pay per class at a rate of $10 per class.
Family discounts are - 10% for second enrollment
20% for third enrollment
30% for fourth enrollment, etc.
Additional Fees
Registration fee - $10.00
Winter show deposits of $20 per costume due at time of registration with the balance due on October 15.
Spring costume payments – ½ due November 1, ½ due January 5. Bills will be sent in October.
Competition fee - $15.00 – due with fees upon billing.
Production Repertory fees* -
The Lion King – Levels 5&6 - $30, Levels 3&4 - $20
Spring – Levels 5&6 – $20
*Students wishing to participate in The Lion King must meet the following requirements:
Students must be enrolled in a Level 3-6 Musical Theatre class.
Students must be enrolled in the MYDT Level 3-6 Ballet Program. This includes ballet technique and ballet repertory classes. No exceptions.
Students must sign up for The Lion King production repertory class on Tuesday evenings and attend when scheduled. Brad and Emily will post a week-to-week schedule. See them if you have questions.
