Class & Level Descriptions

Registration Form

  • Combination Tap and Ballet for ages 3-5

  • Combination Tap and Ballet for ages 5-7

  • New and experienced dancers ages 7-9.  Classes available in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.

  • Classes for experienced dancers ages 9-18.  Classes available in ballet, pointe, tap, modern, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop.  Returning students are placed in levels at the discretion of MYDT teachers based on a combination of student age, experience, and talent.  New students will be placed after a trial ballet class - please contact us at 651.644.2438 or info@mydtdance.com if you are interested in scheduling a trial class.  All students must meet technique requirements for their levels in order to participate in repertory classes, performances, and competition.

  • Beginner/Intermediate class available in ballet and tap.

Tuition

The Tuition schedule is based on 36 weeks of dance instruction. Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day and a winter holiday break are not included in the 36 weeks.

Tuition is payable in nine monthly installments.

  • Family discounts:

    • 10% for second enrollment

    • 20% for third enrollment

    • 30% for fourth enrollment, etc.

  • Tuition can be prorated for weeks the dancer is unavailable if arranged at time of registration

  • Payment over 30 days late will be assessed a $10 fee for each 30 days.

  • All credit card, and Apple Pay / Google Pay transactions carry a 2.8% surcharge

Additional Fees

  • Registration $25 per family, per year

  • Winter Show deposits of $50 per costume will be due by October 15 with the balance due on November 15. You will receive a separate invoice.

  • Spring costume payments – $40 deposits due November 1. Invoices with payment schedules will be sent in October.

  • Competition fee - $35.00 per student for group routines AND $35 per student for specialty routines – due to MYDT in addition to fees set by the competition.

  • Winter Show Repertory fees* - (These classes do not figure into regular tuition)

    • Group 3/4A - $60 per student due at registration

    • Group 4B-8- $100 per student due at registration

*WINTER SHOW PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

GROUP 3/4A – BALLET PROGRAM AND MODERN (performing in one section of the show)

GROUP 4B/5 THROUGH 8 - BALLET PROGRAM PLUS MODERN REQUIRED FOR SECTION 1, JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE FOR SECTION 2.
